Evaluation through finite element and numerical simulation of triboelectric polymer pairs in vertical contact mode

Triboelectric nanogenerators are shown a recent development in the energy field various applications powering sensors to biomedical applications. The research of tribogenerators is trending renewable area as it can harness waste mechanical due friction. Studies have mathematical modeling done on triboelectric principle based Gauss electric principle. Triboelectricity generation contact electrification depends factors that include surface charge density, materials, geometrical features tribo pairs, mode operation terms velocity etc. significance nanomaterials triboelectricity where polymers good results. In this study, detailed computational and numerical simulation selected pairs material combination chosen from series. Computational performed using Comsol Multiphysics evaluate output performance Voc Qsc. Numerical MatLab current, power, voltage with respect time for input parameters. device validated by experiments. method adopted will be useful tool determining characteristics any pairs.
